POSITION: Technical Assistant (Taxi Division)
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Supports the Taxi department in all administrative tasks for VP Insurance Administration and VP Sales.
TRAINING: Training full time in office - followed by Hybrid option
KEY TASKS
Prepares new and renewal business which includes quote letters, client letters, policy documentation and invoicing.
Process all certificates of insurance, liability slips, abstracts, auto plus monthly, vehicle schedules, driver schedules and monthly change schedules.
Process changes i.e. vehicles/lessor/lessee/plate/driver changes as required by clients.
Review and approve driver additions.
Process and checks all policy/endorsement documents.
Preparation of finance contracts and collection of premiums.
Prepare monthly bordereau reports for insurers.
Claim confirmations and experience letters for drivers.
Setup client files.
Scanning, faxing, photocopying and any other administrative support when required.
Performs other duties as required
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma
RIBO License preferred or willing to obtain within 3 months
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Strong organizations skills with the ability to re-prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Accuracy and strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Experience with and understanding of Agency Manager (TAM) system 1 year experience in a similar position
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
