Our Award-Winning Client, a nationally recognized leader in manufacturing and production, is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee and drive quality initiatives within their state-of-the-art facility. This role ensures the highest food safety and quality standards are upheld while optimizing processes and mentoring a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement food safety and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and track department budgets while identifying and eliminating inefficiencies.
  • Conduct Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) assessments to achieve quality and performance targets.
  • Manage crisis situations effectively to protect company integrity and policies.
  • Oversee the recruitment, performance management, and professional development of the quality team.
  • Ensure compliance with SQF, FSSC 22000, HACCP, and Kosher certifications.
  • Drive improvements using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology, focusing on Quality Maintenance (QM) pillar.
  • Work cross-functionally with manufacturing teams, vendors, and customers to resolve quality-related concerns.
  • Provide leadership and technical support in sanitation, warehouse environments, and compliance systems.
  • Communicate effectively with external manufacturing suppliers to maintain strict adherence to policies and standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5-8 years of experience in Production, Manufacturing, and Quality
  • Minimum of 5 years managing a diverse workforce in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of 5 years in direct food quality/safety management, receiving, and delivery processes
  • Expertise in TPM methodology with a strong focus on Quality Maintenance (QM) preferred
  • Strong leadership with a proven track record of driving performance improvements
  • In-depth knowledge of sanitation, compliance systems, regulatory requirements, and food safety protocols
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Onsite position
  • Night Shift: 6 PM – 6 AM
  • No travel required
