OPEN POSITIONS:

Chief Inspector – Paving Work (Night Shift)Location: Greenwich, CTShift: NightCertifications Required: NETTCP Paving Certification, ATTSAScope: Lead paving inspections on active Connecticut DOT roadway projects, ensuring compliance with contractual specifications and safety standards.

Inspectors (2 Openings) – Paving Work (Night Shift)Location: Hartford, CTShift: NightCertifications Required: NETTCP Paving Certification, ATTSAScope: Perform hands-on paving inspections under Connecticut DOT protocols, maintain daily records, and assist in issue resolution during nighttime operations.

Chief Inspector – Paving Work (Night Shift)Location: Stamford, CTShift: NightCertifications Required: NETTCP Paving Certification, ATTSAScope: Supervise paving construction activities and crews, lead safety compliance, and ensure quality execution on DOT infrastructure upgrades.

Chief Inspector – French Town Bridge (Night Shift)Location: East Greenwich, RIShift: NightCertifications Required: NETTCP Paving Certification, ATTSAScope: Direct bridge and paving inspection work on a Rhode Island DOT nighttime initiative. Candidate Profile for Inspector/Chief Inspector Roles:

Minimum Credentials:• PE (Professional Engineer), CCM (Certified Construction Manager), or EIT (Engineer-in-Training) (preferred for leadership roles)• NICET Level IV Certification (for Chief Inspector roles) or NICET Level III/IV (Inspector roles – as applicable)• NETTCP Paving Certification• ATTSA (Traffic Control Certification)

Technical Competencies:• Strong proficiency in construction documentation and correspondence preparation• Proven ability to manage inspection teams and collaborate with project personnel• Record-keeping excellence and construction quality/safety assurance

Experience Requirements:• General Construction Experience: 5–10 years• Field Inspection Experience: Minimum of 4 years• Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 2 years (for Chief Inspector roles)
