Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead mechanical engineering initiatives from initial concept through full execution, ensuring strict adherence to budget constraints, project schedules, and performance benchmarks.

  • Oversee the design, testing, and integration of automated systems, robotics, and control technologies to optimize production efficiency, accuracy, and adaptability.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and apply Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies to drive operational enhancements.

  • Generate and execute comprehensive project plans detailing technical requirements, resources, and implementation timelines.

  • Supervise mechanical system installations, validations, and performance testing, ensuring operational compliance.

  • Develop precise technical documentation, including engineering schematics, design calculations, and maintenance guidelines.

  • Manage and track all project documentation, including engineering change orders (ECOs), test results, and system performance reports.

  • Present technical updates and comprehensive project reports to stakeholders, outlining challenges and solution strategies.

  • Drive continuous innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging mechanical technologies.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications & Required Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering within a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar).

    • Knowledge of automation, robotics, and control system integration.

    • Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

  • Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

    • Must be able to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods without restrictions.
