Our Award-Winning Client, a nationally recognized leader in the industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer III (Senior MQE) to enhance their rapidly growing team. This role serves as a vital technical bridge between Engineering and Manufacturing teams, ensuring seamless scalability for an expanding portfolio of solar energy storage solutions. The selected candidate will play a key role in determining materials, processes, and contract manufacturing strategies for next-generation power conversion and energy storage products—some with warranties extending up to 25 years.

Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead supplier and partner selection for high-reliability power electronics manufacturing.
- Develop, track, and maintain quality performance metrics while working closely with contract manufacturers to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct and oversee Contract Manufacturer Process Audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Establish and manage Quality Requirements Specifications for highly reliable, long-life-cycle energy storage products.
- Own and enforce Process Flow, PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and Control Plans for new and existing product lines.
- Lead and implement PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) across contract manufacturing locations.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure proper equipment installation, setup, and qualification at manufacturing facilities.
- Provide expertise on solder chemistries, electronics cleaning, cleanliness validation, conformal coating, and potting processes.
- Engage in DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) to enhance manufacturability and product reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, delivering measurable cost reductions and efficiency gains.
- Lead SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request) resolution efforts, ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented at supplier locations.
- Play a key role in Corrective Action & Preventative Action (CAPA) initiatives to resolve material and manufacturing defects.
- Ensure Engineering Change Control (ECO) implementation, guaranteeing smooth transitions and compliance across production sites.
- Collaborate with engineering and testing teams to evaluate and validate materials and manufacturing processes.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

5+ years of experience in high-reliability electronics manufacturing, electromechanical assembly, or contract manufacturing, with a focus on quality management.
- Strong expertise in solder chemistries, electronics cleaning, cleanliness validation, conformal coating, and potting for electronics production.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in power electronics, consumer electronics, or commercial electronics manufacturing.
- Experience in international operations and working within a matrix organizational structure.
- Proven success in driving cross-site collaboration to implement unified quality solutions.
- Familiarity with hardware certification standards such as UL1741.
- Understanding of mechanical and thermal analysis techniques and methodologies.
