our Award-Winning Client, a recognized leader in infrastructure and public works consulting, is seeking a skilled Night Shift Field Inspector to support highway construction and paving projects under state-level oversight. This opportunity involves direct, nighttime quality assurance work to ensure road construction and resurfacing projects comply with rigorous public agency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform field inspections during nighttime paving operations, ensuring strict adherence to state specifications

• Oversee material placement and compaction methods, verifying compliance with technical criteria

• Review test outcomes and maintain detailed documentation including tickets and daily activity reports

• Interface with contractors and engineers to address compliance deviations in real time

• Enforce job site safety and traffic management protocols per industry certification standards

Required Qualifications:

• Valid certification in Soils & Aggregates, Concrete, or both through a regional or industry-recognized body (e.g., NETTCP)

• Certification in Traffic Safety and Control (e.g., ATSSA) preferred, or willingness to obtain

• At least two years of inspection experience on DOT-regulated projects

• Proficient communication and organizational skills

• Availability for Sunday–Thursday evening shifts
