Data Engineer Finance needed for leading women’s health company. The Data Engineer Finance will be responsible for the architecture, building, testing and maintenance of the enterprise data infrastructure. Collaborate with company leadership to ensure that all data needed is available for timely analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities include designing and delivering highly scalable data assets to support advanced analytics, developing new pipelines and data flows, designing best-in-class solutions utilizing the Common Data Model and Power BI, and assisting with data verification processes to ensure all enterprise data is correct.
The Data Engineer Finance works a hybrid schedule and reports to either the Trumbull, CT, or Victor, NY, offices. Travel will be required about 5% of the time with trips to other offices and manufacturing and distribution centers as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, information technology, engineering, or other science discipline.
- 3+ years of experience working hands-on in data modeling or engineering.
- 5+ years of experience with data, analytics, reporting, and/or business intelligence.
- Expert-level knowledge of SQL, MS Synapse, MS Power BI, and leading data analytic tools
- Proficiency with MS Azure Data Lakes and familiarity with MS Azure Fabric.
- Experience with financial reporting and finance.
- Experience working with data privacy regulations (HIPAA and GDPR).
- Desire to take action and deliver measurable results.
- Ability to work collaboratively with leadership, analysts, and third-party partners.
- Ability to self-motivate and work effectively from a remote location.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience with MS D365 CRM and MS Navision.
- Experience with life sciences and manufacturing industries.
- Experience in software development and solution architecture.
