The Account Executive is responsible for managing and expanding the software portfolio of clients, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring overall client satisfaction. This position plays a key role in helping to develop new business opportunities. This role will often take the lead in communicating and demonstrating the value of products, applications and other related technologies to prospective executives and prospect evaluation teams.

· Responsible for attaining quota through named accounts and territory prospecting.

· Work with manufacturing customers/prospects to understand strategic business initiatives and, with your technical counterpart, architect solutions to support those goals.

· Ability to articulate the business and technology value of solutions to customers across the product portfolio-PLM, CAD, ALM, AR, and IoT.

· Spend a significant amount of time on-site with customers for discovery efforts, identifying opportunities, progressing the sales cycle, and closing deals.

· Be responsible for independently establishing and maintaining customer relationships at every level including the C-Level.

· Ability to learn internal systems required to support sales effort-SFDC, Zoom, quoting, ticketing, etc.

· Provide a quarterly business plan/territory plan as well as account plans for sales execution.

· Ability to understand the competitive landscape.

· Conduct regular check-ins to assess client satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.

· Operates under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

· At least 5+ years’ experience selling engineering-related enterprise software solutions while navigating complex sales cycles.

· At least 5+ years’ experience in the PLM, SCM, ERP, Simulation, DM or CRM technology field (or similar) into accounts up through the CXO level.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
