Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join a dynamic team and provide expert financial guidance to clients based in the NYC metro area. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with occasional in-person client meetings in New York City. Your role will be integral to ensuring our clients' compliance with US GAAP and IFRS standards, while contributing to their financial growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee client payment processes, manage tax notices, and conduct bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journal entries, manage accruals, and support the monthly close of financial books.
• Reconcile general ledger and sub-ledger accounts, promptly addressing any discrepancies.
• Draft corporate tax returns and compile necessary documentation for tax compliance.
• Take on additional responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of experience in a CPA firm environment.
• CPA certification preferred, or completion of 150 credit hours in relevant coursework.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong expertise in accounting and tax practices.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and customer service skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in French, Mandarin, or Spanish is a plus.
