Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor and partner to the leadership team, crafting and executing a go-to-market strategy tailored for the APAC region.
  • Lead all facets of the sales cycle, from prospecting and opportunity management to pipeline development and relationship management.
  • Implement robust sales processes, tools, and systems to support sustainable growth, in collaboration with global teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in sales strategy and execution, considering both revenue and profitability implications.
  • Analyze market trends and sales data to identify growth opportunities and develop initiatives to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, while working with the customer success team to enhance market presence and service differentiation.
  • In partnership with senior sales leadership, set regional sales goals and recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and market positioning tailored to the APAC region.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies that exceed revenue objectives.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global operating environment.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical aptitude with the ability to use data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of the insurance industry, with established relationships at strategic decision-making levels.
  • Aspiring leader capable of building and developing a high-caliber sales team.
  • Prior experience in forming or working within strategic partnerships.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally internationally as needed.
  • Adaptable to change and ambiguity, driven by personal and professional growth opportunities.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Significant experience in selling insurance technology to APAC insurance companies.
  • Previous experience in smaller, tech-focused companies is preferred.
