The Vice President of Operations will oversee the planning, direction, coordination, and execution of Payment operational activities for the organization. This role is responsible for developing and implementing efficient processes, ensuring operational excellence, and managing resources to meet current and future business needs. The Vice President will lead operations across the organization, focusing on optimizing workflows, system management, inventory control, and order delivery processes to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity.

 

What You Will Do:

 

  • Develop and implement the strategic direction for the operations division in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to set and achieve company objectives while providing operational expertise.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements, new technologies, and systems to streamline workflows and maximize resource efficiency.
  • Oversee key operational functions, including workflow management, system administration, remote key injection, and inventory control.
  • Establish and enforce operations-related policies, standards, and security measures for consistent and effective performance.
  • Prepare and present performance reports and operational metrics to executive leadership.
  • Manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Recruit, train, and develop management-level staff, fostering a high-performing and collaborative operations team.
  • Identify training needs and ensure team members receive proper development opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback for staff development.

What You Bring:

  • Prior POS Terminal Operations and Deployment departmental experience. 
  • Proven leadership experience with strong supervisory and team management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of operational processes and best practices, particularly in payments.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, execution, and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), ERP systems, project management tools, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry-related experience, with at least three years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in system management, inventory control, remote key injection and total quality management.
