Job Title: Network Engineer (Onsite)

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer for onsite staff augmentation in Omaha, NE. The selected candidate will support network infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and assist with IT operations in a dynamic environment. This role requires a hands-on professional with experience in network engineering and strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.

• Monitor network performance and implement improvements as needed.

• Collaborate with internal IT teams to support day-to-day network operations.

• Ensure network security and compliance with industry best practices.

• Provide documentation and reports on network performance and troubleshooting activities.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or IT infrastructure support.

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).

• Experience with enterprise-grade networking hardware (Cisco, Fortinet, or similar).

• Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues in a timely manner.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent).

• Experience working in an enterprise IT environment.

• Knowledge of cloud networking and security best practices.
