Network Engineer – Aruba Devices Configuration Specialist

OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with a strong background in configuring and managing Aruba network devices. In this role, you will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Aruba switches, wireless access points, and controllers across our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal network performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Device Configuration & Deployment:

  • Install, configure, and manage Aruba network devices including switches, wireless access points, and controllers.
  • Implement network policies, security protocols, and firmware updates as per best practices and organizational standards.

• Network Design & Optimization:

  • Work with network teams to design and optimize Aruba network solutions that meet performance and scalability requirements.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, device configuration, and network security.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Provide regular reports on network performance, device status, and potential areas for improvement.

• Collaboration & Support:

  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure network configurations align with overall IT strategies and compliance requirements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance for Aruba network device-related issues and escalations.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Aruba networking.
  • Recommend improvements to network infrastructure and propose new solutions to enhance overall performance and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience configuring and managing Aruba network devices in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols).
• Familiarity with Aruba management tools and software.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex network issues efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) or Aruba Certified Switching Associate (ACSA).
• Experience with wireless network design and implementation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
