Job Title: Senior IT Consultant/Engineer

Location: Tempe, AZ

Schedule: 9AM – 5PM for the first 2 weeks, then 2 days/week ongoing

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Consultant/Engineer for our Managed Service Provider (MSP) team in Tempe, AZ. This role involves managing all aspects of our customers’ technologies, project management including IT assessments, recommendations, proposals, and nurturing customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clients with technical expertise in networking, mobility, virtualization, security, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies; update existing infrastructure to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Develop IT strategies to ensure the networking, compute, and storage infrastructure meets current and future requirements based on business needs and regulations.
  • Understand hybrid and cloud architectures, applying best practices to enable high operational resiliency.
  • Work independently and in diverse environments, ensuring excellent follow-up and detailed documentation.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Strongly preferred - Microsoft expert certifications in M365, Azure Security, Identity Management, and other related industry certifications.
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years in maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting various technology environments.
  • Consulting: Prior consulting experience is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Comprehensive understanding of operating platforms, connectivity, security, and information management.
    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, EMS, Azure, Active Directory, Teams, Security Administration, and DNS.
    • Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft back office/cloud platforms.
    • Strong hands-on experience in networking, firewalls, routing, and switching.
    • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and client management skills.
    • Outstanding communication at all organizational levels.
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
