Overview
The angular developer will work as a part of our software team. You will work with our Senior Developer to add new features, fix issues, and contribute to the ongoing development of two enterprise Angular web applications. This is a front-end-focused position so collaboration will be needed to create high-performing, responsive, and interactive web applications that work with the existing modern RESTful backend.
This position requires a working knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the Angular web development life cycle, including coding standards, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop User Interfaces: Craft high-quality, reusable, and testable Angular components following best practices and design patterns.
- Code Optimization: Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring efficient performance across different devices and browsers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Developer to plan, design, and develop robust solutions.
- Testing: Ensure comprehensive user testing and add to unit testing implementation.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with new Angular versions and technologies, and share knowledge with the team.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and distribute knowledge.
- Maintenance: Address bugs and improve application performance proactively.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Angular developer
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Good understanding of TypeScript and RxJS.
- Familiarity with state management patterns and solutions (e.g., NgRx, Akita).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Proficient with source control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps Repos)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years of professional experience with Angular and modern web technologies.
- Strong communication, collaboration and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to document software deliverables through use cases, design documents and technical specifications
- Strong knowledge of web technologies and multitier architecture
