Job Title: IT Technician - Tablet Provisioning Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an IT Technician to join our team as a Tablet Provisioning Specialist for 7 weeks. In this role, you will be responsible for provisioning and configuring tablets for our organization's staff or clients. You will ensure that each tablet is set up according to established standards, security protocols, and user requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Provision tablets according to specifications provided by the organization or clients.2. Install and configure necessary software applications, operating systems, and security patches on tablets.3. Customize tablet settings based on user preferences and organizational requirements.4. Ensure tablets are set up to access necessary network resources, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and cloud services.5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues encountered during the provisioning process.6. Collaborate with IT support teams to address any technical challenges or escalations.7. Perform quality assurance checks to ensure tablets are functioning properly before deployment.8. Maintain accurate records of tablet inventory, configurations, and provisioning activities.

 

Requirements:

1+ years of experience working as an IT Technician or in a similar role, with specific experience in tablet provisioning preferred.Knowledge of mobile device operating systems (e.g., iOS, Android) and configuration tools.Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) solutions and provisioning techniques.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow provisioning processes accurately.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with users and colleagues.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Experience with provisioning tablets in an enterprise environment is a plus.Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Mobile Devices or vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Apple Certified Associate) are desirable.
