Role: Senior Plumbing & Fire Protection Professional Engineer (PE) 🔧

Join a growing engineering firm with a strong presence across Florida as a Senior Plumbing & Fire Protection Professional Engineer to lead the design and delivery of diverse building projects! This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PE looking to play a strategic, hands-on role in shaping high-quality building systems from concept through construction. As a senior member of the team, you'll take ownership of design efforts, collaborate closely with clients and project teams, ensure quality and compliance, and provide mentorship to junior engineers. Lead and perform plumbing and fire protection system design and calculations while serving as a primary point of contact for clients including architects, contractors, and developers. Oversee QA/QC processes, review and approve technical drawings, conduct site visits for construction administration, and resolve technical issues across diverse building projects throughout Florida with hybrid/flexible work options available.

Requirements: 🎓

✅ Active Professional Engineer (PE) License REQUIRED

✅ PE based in Florida required

✅ Bachelor's Degree required

✅ 5+ years of experience in Plumbing & Fire Protection design (7+ years preferred)

✅ Strong communication and organizational skills

✅ Experience leading projects and teams

✅ Background coordinating with A&E firms, contractors, and developers

✅ Ability to lead and perform plumbing and fire protection system design and calculations

✅ Experience overseeing QA/QC processes and ensuring code compliance

✅ Ability to serve as primary client contact and build strong relationships

✅ Experience reviewing and approving technical drawings, reports, and documentation

✅ Capability to conduct site visits and support construction administration

✅ Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards

✅ Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers

✅ English language proficiency required
