Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking a talented and driven Associate Attorney to join their thriving Latin American Practice in New York or Washington, DC. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with experience in both finance and transactional matters who are eager to work on complex cross-border deals across Latin America.
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
2+ years of substantive experience in project finance and/or M&A transactions.
Prior experience advising on cross-border matters involving Latin America is preferred.
Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated transactions and collaborate with multidisciplinary deal teams.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills.
Advise major corporations, sponsors, financial institutions, and governments on high-value cross-border transactions involving Latin America.
Support complex project finance and M&A matters across a variety of sectors, including infrastructure, energy, and finance.
Draft and negotiate key transaction documents and coordinate all aspects of deal execution.
Conduct due diligence, regulatory reviews, and risk analysis in connection with multi-jurisdictional transactions.
Work closely with attorneys across practice groups and international offices to deliver seamless service to clients.

Compensation is highly competitive, with an annual salary range of $260,000-$365,000 (determined by experience, location, and market factors) and a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare, retirement plans, wellness programs, paid time off, and additional perks.
