Job Title: Semi-Skilled General Laborer
Location: Corunna, MI
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Semi-Skilled General Laborer to join our team. This is a multifaceted position where you will assist fabricators and machine operators, handle materials, and receive hands-on training to operate our automated saw. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with metal and a strong interest in growing their skills within a supportive and stable environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist fabricators and machine operators with daily tasks
-
Perform material handling and organization of shop materials
-
Learn and operate automated saw equipment
-
Use measuring tools (tape measure) to ensure accuracy in production

Safely operate a forklift to move and stage materials
-
Support general shop operations as needed
Qualifications:
-
Ability to read and interpret a tape measure accurately
-
Forklift driving experience required
-
Previous experience working with metal, such as welding or processing (press brake, saw, shear, etc.)

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
-
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Compensation & Benefits:
-
Starting pay: $16.50 per hour
-
Pay increase potential after 90 days to $17–$18/hour depending on skill level
-
Full benefits package, including matched retirement fund benefits
Schedule:
-
Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
-
Overtime and weekend work is rare but may be required a few times per year based on workload
