They are looking for a bilingual candidate to join the Accounts Payable team.

 

Note: this position requires in-office 5 days a week. The position has a competitive salary + bonus, group insurance, and a great work environment with lots of room for career growth!

 

Working closely with the accounting department, the Accounts Payable coordinator will:

 

  • Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
  • Contacting suppliers regarding discrepancies
  • Managing cash applications in the system
  • Supporting vendors with general inquiries
  • Collaborating with other internal teams
  • Reconciling and closing end-of-month payables
  • General filing of invoices and other accounting documents
  • Assisting the general accounting team during the month end and when needed.
  • Assisting in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation.
  • Other tasks assigned

Qualifications:

  • A post-secondary education in accounting
  • 2 years experience in payables
  • Bilingual in English and french
  • Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of accounting software, GP, Sage, or SAP system
