SCRUM MASTER
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Scrum Master is a servant-leader responsible for
guiding technical teams and enabling activities to foster high-performing team dynamics,
continuous flow, and relentless improvement. The successful candidate will possess excellent
communication skills, a strong understanding of agile practices and principles, and the technical
acumen to drive continual innovation within the team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Drive development of release and sprint roadmaps.
- Serve as the key resource to facilitate and monitor processes from project initiation through delivery
- Review and confirm the appropriate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals are assigned.
- Coordinate and facilitate sprint planning and task definition, sprint execution, impediment removal and tracking, sprint review, and retrospectives.
- Liaison between cross-functional teams to ensure all targets and requirements are met.
- Address and remove impediments, mitigate distractions, and adhere to continuous improvement principles.
- Complete metric reports on project status, schedule, and agile metrics such as velocity and cycle time.
- Manage project expectations with team members and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years work experience in Project Management/Development.
- Minimum 2 years as a scrum master in an IT or software development setting.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and frameworks.
- Understanding of iterative and incremental development.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams.
- Familiarity with DevOps methodology and principles.
- SAFe or other Agile vendor certification is a plus.
