SCRUM MASTER

 

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Scrum Master is a servant-leader responsible for

guiding technical teams and enabling activities to foster high-performing team dynamics,

continuous flow, and relentless improvement. The successful candidate will possess excellent

communication skills, a strong understanding of agile practices and principles, and the technical

acumen to drive continual innovation within the team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive development of release and sprint roadmaps.
  • Serve as the key resource to facilitate and monitor processes from project initiation through delivery
  • Review and confirm the appropriate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals are assigned.
  • Coordinate and facilitate sprint planning and task definition, sprint execution, impediment removal and tracking, sprint review, and retrospectives.
  • Liaison between cross-functional teams to ensure all targets and requirements are met.
  • Address and remove impediments, mitigate distractions, and adhere to continuous improvement principles.
  • Complete metric reports on project status, schedule, and agile metrics such as velocity and cycle time.
  • Manage project expectations with team members and key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in Project Management/Development.
  • Minimum 2 years as a scrum master in an IT or software development setting.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and frameworks.
  • Understanding of iterative and incremental development.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams.
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodology and principles.
  • SAFe or other Agile vendor certification is a plus.
