Note:
Candidates must have experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing or aerospace environment and be proficient with ERP systems (Dynamics AX experience preferred).

Job Description

  • Lead and maintain the standard costing system across multiple facilities.
  • Ensure accurate valuation of physical inventory and part-standard costs.
  • Analyze and report cost variances, including period-end and job close variances.
  • Prepare inventory reconciliations and manage excess/obsolete inventory reserves.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process through data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize ERP and cost reporting systems.
  • Uphold compliance with accounting regulations and internal policies.
  • Coach and mentor team members, fostering communication and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (aviation preferred).
  • Strong proficiency with ERP systems; MS Dynamics AX experience a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Compensation
Competitive salary range of $100,000–$125,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits, 401(k), and opportunities for advancement.
