Albion, Michigan – On-site at our modern manufacturing and engineering facility, where design meets production.

Note

Candidates must have professional experience using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent) to produce technical drawings for engineering or manufacturing projects.

All racking products are designed, manufactured, and inventoried at their Albion facility. Job Description

  • Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models for solar racking, structural, and mechanical systems.
  • Translate engineering concepts and sketches into accurate technical designs ready for production.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are efficient, accurate, and manufacturable.
  • Revise and update drawings based on feedback, design changes, and quality standards.
  • Maintain organized drawing files, documentation, and revision histories.
  • Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CAD Drafter in an engineering, construction, or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of design standards, tolerances, and fabrication processes.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Associate’s degree or technical certificate in Drafting, Mechanical Design, or related field preferred.
