Ascension Search Partners has been engaged by a PE backed, construction company who are hiring a Finance Manager to help build out their FP&A function. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this role will be involved in budgeting, forecasting, long-term strategic planning, business partnership plus reporting for the PE backers. The ideal candidate will be proactive and experienced in navigating a high-growth environment.

Primary Duties

• Support the long-range planning process and model, mapping drivers to operational performance to help the business make strategic choices

• Maintain, build, and interpret forecast models to accurately depict current growth trajectory

• Guide process and decisions related to working capital, funding, and investments; enable our team to operate quickly and confidently, while maintaining appropriate levels of leverage and liquidity

• Identify and proactively analyze KPIs that keep operations on track to deliver the plan

• Identify and evaluate business development activities, including M&A and partnerships, and effectively onboard/integrate companies upon acquisition

• Advance our culture; build relationships across the organization by serving internal/external stakeholders with diligence, persistence, and energy
