Our client, a respected and expanding insurance brokerage based in the Hamilton region, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to support a portfolio of mid- to large-market clients across key industries. With a hybrid work model and a collaborative team environment, this is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned commercial insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-first culture.
You’ll work closely with 1–2 senior producers to service, retain, and grow a robust book of business — with a strong emphasis on Construction, Realty, Hospitality, and Surety accounts.
Manage the day-to-day servicing of a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts
Provide excellent client service, handling policy renewals, endorsements, certificates, and risk reviews
Collaborate with producers to support new business quoting, proposals, and presentations
Liaise with insurers to negotiate terms, premiums, and coverage
Maintain accurate client files and documentation in EPIC
Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to enhance coverage and client satisfaction
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards
Stay informed on market trends, emerging risks, and insurer appetite
5–10 years of experience in a Commercial Lines Account Management role
Strong technical knowledge of mid- to large-market accounts
Proven experience in one or more of the following sectors:
Construction & Contracting
Surety/Bonding
Commercial Real Estate
Hospitality & Entertainment
Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with producers and underwriters
High attention to detail, time management, and service standards
Active RIBO license (required)
CIP, CAIB, or CRM designation (asset)
Proficiency with EPIC brokerage management system (required)
Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance products and insurer markets
