Commercial Insurance Account Manager

Location: Oshawa, ON (In-Office)
Salary: $60,000–$65,000 (based on experience) + Commission Opportunities
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Commercial Insurance professional who thrives on delivering exceptional client service? You’ll work closely with clients, underwriters, and producers to ensure coverage needs are met with precision, empathy, and professionalism.

What You’ll Do

Client Service & Policy Management

  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests with accuracy and care.

  • Review and analyze coverage to ensure clients are properly protected.

  • Remarketing renewals and negotiating with underwriters to secure competitive terms.

  • Provide guidance and support to clients through the claims process.

  • Communicate effectively with Producers to ensure client needs are fully met.

Team Support & Growth

  • Contribute to brokerage-wide success by participating in process improvements and team initiatives.

  • Engage in community involvement and represent the brokerage with professionalism.

  • Support colleagues by providing backup coverage and sharing knowledge to strengthen the team.

  • Base Salary: $60,000–$65,000 (commensurate with experience).

What We’re Looking For

  • RIBO License in good standing (required).

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial insurance experience.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify client needs and recommend the best solutions.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in policy management.

  • Genuine empathy and client focus—dedicated to helping clients protect what matters most.

  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Confident sales and upselling abilities, with a focus on value-driven recommendations.
