This role plays a vital part in delivering technical solutions for residential, commercial, educational, and public infrastructure developments.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lay out subsurface investigation locations, including soil borings for geotechnical studies.

• Supervise field data collection, prepare logs for engineering review, and identify samples for laboratory testing.

• Generate detailed engineering reports summarizing geotechnical findings and project recommendations.

• Perform engineering analyses, including bearing capacity, pile load calculations, and retaining wall design.

• Coordinate and manage construction materials testing operations; schedule field technicians and monitor quality.

• Review and approve materials testing reports before client distribution.

• Support infrastructure projects involving roadways, bridges, site grading, and utility design (water and sewer systems).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.

• 3–5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or construction materials testing within a consulting environment.

• Strong communication and technical writing skills.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
