Our Award-Winning Client, recognized nationally for their excellence in healthcare services, is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist. This role, under the guidance of the Department Manager and Lead Technologist, will collaborate closely with the Medical Director of the Cath Lab, cardiologists, radiologists, and other medical professionals to perform advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures.

Responsibilities include conducting high-level cardiovascular and interventional imaging, ensuring that age-appropriate care is provided for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, and representing the organization in interactions with patients, families, and other healthcare personnel. You will also contribute to quality assurance initiatives and ongoing organizational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures with precision and expertise.
  • Collaborate effectively with medical directors, cardiologists, radiologists, and medical staff for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Participate actively in quality assurance and organizational improvement programs.
  • Deliver age-appropriate care tailored to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all imaging procedures.
  • Engage in continuous learning to remain updated on the latest techniques in cardiovascular imaging.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure that all procedures are in compliance with medical standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of ARRT School or equivalent education/experience
  • Certification as a California Radiologic Technologist upon hire
  • National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional specialized training in angiocardiography or equivalent education/experience
  • Advanced registration with ARRT in Cardiovascular and Interventional Imaging upon hire
  • At least 2 years of experience as a scrub technician in an acute care hospital setting
