Position Overview

As a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP II) at our Award-Winning Client. An RCP II is defined as an RCP that has acquired the Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care, you will provide essential respiratory therapy in routine, emergent, and critical care settings (including adult and neonatal ICU). Working under the direction of Respiratory Care Management, you will play a vital role in the patient care team by delivering advanced respiratory care to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer routine and critical respiratory therapies as prescribed by physicians.
  • Provide respiratory care in ICU settings, including neonatal and adult patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in patient assessments and treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families about respiratory care and related procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited College in Respiratory Therapy.
  • California Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS Certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS Certification within 90 days of hire.
  • National Provider PALS Certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Experience in an acute respiratory care setting, including routine and critical care.

Candidate Profile:Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience in an acute respiratory care setting and hold a California Respiratory Care Practitioner License. Applicants must have BLS upon hire, with ACLS and PALS certifications to be completed within 90 days. The role requires someone with strong clinical skills, who can thrive in fast-paced environments and deliver critical care to ICU patients. Management experience is not required, and no travel is necessary for this role.
