Position Overview:The Manager Nursing - Antepartum is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical and operational functions of the antepartum unit. This leadership role requires a professional with expertise in patient care coordination, staff management, and adherence to organizational values and standards of excellence in nursing care. The manager will ensure high-quality care is delivered while fostering a supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the overall management and coordination of the antepartum nursing unit.
  • Implement and monitor unit goals and objectives to maintain top-tier patient care standards.
  • Provide leadership in clinical decision-making, staffing, and patient flow processes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor regulatory compliance, policies, and best practices within the unit to align with organizational standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff to ensure continuous growth and excellence in patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in a clinical nursing environment related to antepartum care.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leadership roles, including staffing management, clinical decision-making, and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in nursing or a related healthcare field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a first-line management position within a clinical setting.
