Our Award-Winning Client is seeking a Senior Sonographer specializing in Women's Health for their location in Burlington, VT. This role involves performing advanced diagnostic ultrasounds, particularly in OB/GYN, while offering leadership in mentoring junior staff. The sonographer will operate independently under physician guidance and collaborate with peers to ensure patient-centered care. Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures with a focus on OB/GYN.
• Work collaboratively with medical staff to interpret and assess ultrasound results.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff and new hires.
• Maintain required credentials and stay updated on best practices in ultrasound technology.
• Engage in critical thinking and problem-solving during ultrasound sessions to ensure precise results.

Required Skills:

• Advanced certification in OB/GYN (ARDMS Certified).
• Successful completion of an accredited Sonography program.
• A minimum of six months of direct scanning experience outside clinical training, with a strong emphasis on OB/GYN procedures.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to stay organized while managing a high-volume workflow.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills during patient assessments.
