Our Award-Winning Client, known for its national presence and recognition in healthcare excellence, is seeking a passionate Nurse Navigator (RN) to join their team. This role focuses on identifying and managing care for patients with complex health needs, particularly in oncology, while ensuring personalized and safe patient care within a collaborative team model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage with a multidisciplinary team to identify high-risk oncology patients, facilitating their care from diagnosis through treatment.
  • Provide holistic care that is tailored to the specific needs of oncology patients, ensuring all care protocols are followed meticulously.
  • Coordinate the patient care journey by acting as a primary contact for patient education, treatment planning, and support.
  • Deliver age-appropriate, compassionate nursing care with a strong emphasis on patient safety and clinical quality.

Skills and Certifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • 4-5 years of oncology nursing experience required, with a preference for candidates with outpatient care experience.
  • Active Maryland Registered Nurse License
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification
  • Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN) preferred or willingness to pursue certification after hire.

Candidate Profile:

We are seeking an experienced nurse with a background in oncology, ideally with 2-5 years of experience in an outpatient or surgical setting. A BSN degree is required, and candidates must possess a current Maryland RN license, along with American Heart Association CPR certification. The ideal candidate will have a strong preference for or possess Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN) and should be willing to travel occasionally for professional development. Management experience is not required, and candidates should be passionate about providing high-quality care.
