This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive business development efforts, expand market presence, and lead a talented team within one of the most dynamic and growing offices. The ideal candidate will have a robust network in the Boston/New England market and a proven ability to foster relationships that result in business growth.
Position Overview:The Office Lead will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the office's performance, including managing the business development efforts, client relations, team growth, and overall operational success. A strong focus will be placed on identifying new business opportunities, leading proposal efforts, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Core Responsibilities:
Lead the growth and development of the Boston office and its operations
Cultivate and maintain relationships with both public and private sector clients
Identify and drive new business opportunities, including leading proposal development efforts
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and professional organizations to build visibility and new business pipelines
Collaborate with technical staff to ensure services align with client needs and industry trends
Oversee office budget, staffing, performance metrics, and client satisfaction goals
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years of experience within the AEC or infrastructure industry, with significant exposure to business development
Proven success in building and nurturing client relationships, specifically within the Boston/New England market
Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on growth and profitability
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Established relationships with key clients/agencies in the transportation, infrastructure, or municipal sectors
Prior experience managing a profit center or satellite office, with a focus on both operations and business development
