Qualifications Required

  • Associate degree or higher
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare
  • 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Human Resources
    • Occupational Health
    • Occupational Medicine
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in New Hampshire (NH)
    • Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
    • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in New Hampshire (NH)
  • ANY of the following valid certifications:
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
    • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
    • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)

Overview

Our Award-Winning Client is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse – Occupational/Employee Health to collaborate with employees, employers, and healthcare professionals to ensure workplace health and safety. This role involves clinical care, case management, health hazard assessment, compliance, and health promotion strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and primary care, including assessment, diagnosis, management, and documentation of occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries
  • Manage case management for work-related and non-work-related conditions
  • Conduct health hazard assessments and workplace surveillance
  • Investigate, monitor, and analyze illness and injury trends to improve employee health and safety
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
  • Oversee occupational and environmental health services
  • Develop and implement health promotion and disease prevention strategies
  • Provide counseling, health education, and training programs
  • Participate in occupational and environmental health research

Schedule and Shift Details

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monadnock Family Care)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Pay:
    • $25/hour (for new graduates)
    • Up to $27/hour (based on experience)
  • Possible Sign-On Bonus and/or Relocation Assistance (to be discussed during the interview)

Role & Work Environment

The Licensed Practical Nurse – Occupational/Employee Health reports to a Nurse Executive/Director of Occupational Health and works in collaboration with employees, employers, and the occupational health and safety team. This position may involve work in Family Care, Orthopedics, or Internal Medicine.
