Our Award Winning Client, known for its national presence and recognition in the manufacturing and industrial operations sector, is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to support equipment reliability across their Candor and Silver City, NC locations. This intermediate-level role is key to ensuring fleet performance, safety, and technician development across shifts.

This position supports both routine maintenance and advanced mechanical tasks, while also offering technical support to junior staff. The ideal candidate will contribute to equipment longevity and operational effectiveness across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance and perform intermediate inspections on various types of industrial vehicles and fleet equipment
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and advanced servicing under general supervision
• Mentor and support Level C Fleet Mechanics by offering hands-on guidance
• Utilize diagnostic software tools, Fleet Maintenance Systems, and telematics platforms for performance tracking and issue identification
• Support equipment mobility and relocation when necessary
• Contribute to shop cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM / 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Required Qualifications:*

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in diesel or fleet maintenance
• Brake Certification and Refrigerant Recovery Certification
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Hands-on experience using telematics, diagnostic software, and fleet management systems
