Our Award-Winning Client is seeking a dedicated RN - Med Surg to deliver patient care with excellence. This role involves working within a highly regarded facility that has garnered national recognition for its quality of care and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications, collect specimens, and perform various clinical treatments.
  • Plan and document patient care activities, ensuring comprehensive communication with the care team, including physicians, patients, and families.
  • Monitor patient conditions meticulously, recording and conveying vital information as needed.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and ambulation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless patient care, including managing patient transfers, discharges, and referrals while addressing spiritual and psychosocial needs.
  • Evaluate the educational needs of patients and their families, offering tailored education suited to the patient’s age, culture, and condition.
  • Act as a strong advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Licenses: Must possess a current RN license in KY or a compact state. New Graduates may work under a KY provisional license for up to 6 months, with the expectation that an RN license will be obtained within the first 6 months of employment.
  • Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (can be obtained within 45 days of hire).
  • RNs that have Acute Care (preferred)
