Civil Professional Engineer (P.E.)

Our Award-Winning Client, a nationally recognized leader in engineering and surveying services, is searching for an experienced Civil Professional Engineer (P.E.) to join their dynamic team. This position is ideal for a highly skilled professional eager to take on complex projects and collaborate with a team of experts in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead and manage engineering projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Develop and refine detailed civil engineering designs, specifications, and reports, covering aspects such as site development, utilities, roadway infrastructure, and structural engineering.
  • Oversee and mentor CAD specialists and technical staff, offering guidance and expertise.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews and approvals of engineering calculations and designs.
  • Lead site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure alignment with engineering plans.
  • Handle regulatory requirements, including preparing and submitting necessary permits.
  • Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government agencies.
  • Leverage MicroStation or other CAD software for efficient plan production and design documentation.
  • Design and implement grading, utility, and stormwater management solutions.
  • Perform quality control reviews, plan mark-up corrections, and adjustments as needed.
  • Foster business relationships and contribute to expanding the firm’s market presence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and project execution.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation or equivalent CAD software for technical design and drafting.
  • Strong grasp of civil engineering principles, industry best practices, and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and teamwork capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience in site development, public utilities, and roadway planning.
