The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across multiple facilities, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role supports construction, renovation, and ongoing maintenance projects to meet organizational needs.

Duties:
Including but not limited to:
  • Install conduit, pull wiring, and complete electrical connections in commercial and light industrial environments.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues to maintain safe and efficient operations.
  • Repair or replace breakers, switches, lighting, ballasts, and related electrical components.
  • Collaborate with facilities team members on remodeling, renovations, and new construction projects.
  • Install manufacturing equipment, machinery, and HVAC electrical connections.
  • Support office relocations by preparing workstations, setting up furniture, and ensuring electrical access.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Provide general maintenance and repair support across facilities.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and document completed work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Four-year apprenticeship in the electrical field, with the ability to obtain an electrical license.
  • Journeyman’s Electrical License preferred.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license required; valid Iowa driver’s license preferred.
  • 1+ years of previous electrical or related trade experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial wiring installation best practices.
  • Proficient with computers, including Excel, Word, and related software.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks independently using sound judgment.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
