We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead financial reporting processes and support day-to-day accounting operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, internal controls, and collaboration across departments including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and the broader finance team.
You’ll work closely with the Controller and accounting staff to manage monthly closings, prepare financial statements, and support audits and budgeting activities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership capacity, brings strong technical accounting knowledge, and can balance both detail work and big-picture planning.
Responsibilities:Including but not limited to:
 
  • Oversee daily accounting functions including accounts payable, cash management, and general ledger activities.
  • Manage the monthly close process: accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and inter-company transactions.
  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Maintain and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance and financial integrity.
  • Respond to internal and external audit requests and support audit readiness.
  • Assist in the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts; lead monthly variance reporting.
  • Communicate and uphold company policies across the finance function.
  • Demonstrate a hands-on, detail-oriented approach while also conveying key insights to management.
  • Provide leadership, training, and development for accounting staff.
  • Support the Controller with additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Proficiency in preparing financial statements and understanding financial reporting requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Word and Outlook.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership over responsibilities.
  • Valid driver’s license (required).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
