We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager – Controls to support water and wastewater industry projects. This role is responsible for proposing the correct electrical equipment for a variety of applications, managing cost estimates and take-offs, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, contractors, and engineers. The ideal candidate will be technically skilled, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Duties: Including but not limited to:
Select appropriate electrical equipment based on project requirements.
Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
Prepare cost estimates, material take-offs, and customer quotes.
Create project scopes, proposals, and supporting documentation.
Perform internet-based research to support technical decisions.
Maintain positive relationships with customers and respond promptly to requests.
Serve as liaison between internal teams, contractors, engineers, and customers.
Prioritize and manage multiple deadlines, often under pressure.
Work independently while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office and PDF platforms.
Comfortable using CAD software (preferred but not required).
Skilled in reading and interpreting technical documents.
Mechanically and electrically inclined.
Knowledge of water and wastewater controls, including PLCs, programming, troubleshooting, VFDs, and process instrumentation (preferred).

Experience:
Background in estimating, inside sales, customer service, electrical troubleshooting, or project management.
Understanding of construction processes and technical project lifecycles.
Work experience in a related technical or industrial field.
Education:
Trade school certification in mechanical or electrical fields (preferred).
Associate degree in Accounting, Applied Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Industrial Technology, Agricultural Systems Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing, Accounting, Business Management, or a related discipline (preferred).
