Ascension Search Partners has been engaged to identify a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager, FP&A - Operations to join a rapidly growing renewable energy company supporting one of their growing business units. Responsibilities

  • Lead FP&A activities for the business unit, including forecasting, budgeting, long-term planning, and reporting
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models for assets
  • Drive the annual financial planning cycle and quarterly reforecasting
  • Partner with operations and field leaders to provide accurate reporting and insights
  • Analyze variances, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations
  • Present financial updates and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with other FP&A teams to share best practices and ensure consistency across the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA a plus
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive FP&A experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Industry background in Renewable Energy, Field Operations, or Manufacturing preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling capabilities
  • Experience with Oracle, Salesforce, or similar tools is helpful
  • Track record of driving process improvements and implementing new systems
  • Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
