We are currently hiring for a level level AP Specialist for an awesome commercial construction company for their growing accounting department.

We need an experienced AP Accountant with 5+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience.

Job Summary

Responsible for the processing of payment to subcontractors, which involves managing lien waiver compliance, correspondence with subcontractors, and coordination with the project team and Owner. Responsible for reconciliation between the accounting system and Textura.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for processing vendor invoices and payments
• Follows up with subcontractors on contractual payment requirements
• Provides exceptional customer service by interacting courteously and professionally with external vendors and internal employees
• Prepares and maintains basic excel schedules
• Coordinates activities with the project team, accounting members, and company executives
• Works with Subcontracts Payable team to provide coverage during an absence and assists team members as appropriate
