Recruiter Hustle has partnered with a dynamic public company client to find a talented senior-level Senior Corporate Accountant to join their growing team.  Reporting to the VP, Corporate Controller you'll play a vital role in the month-end close process, ensuring everything runs smoothly and reports are delivered on time.

Here's what you'll get to do:

• Oversee the accuracy and completeness of journal entries, account reconciliations, and analyses.
• Lead key projects related to the closing process, ensuring proper documentation.
• Maintain SOX 404 compliance by adhering to internal controls and procedures.
• Partner with the team to develop and implement new processes to streamline the close process.
• Actively contribute to the development of global accounting policies for accurate financial reporting.
• Participate in year-end audits and quarterly reviews, providing all necessary support.
• Key supporting role with respect to the internal (e.g., Month Financial Package) and external (e.g., Form 10-K and Form 10-Q’s) reporting processes.

You'll be a great fit if you have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, with 6-9 years of experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a plus for experience in Dynamics D365.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A passion for learning and staying up-to-date on accounting best practices.

Bonus points if you have:

• Your CPA license! Not required
• Experience in a public company environment.
