Opportunity Highlights: 

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Controller to join a leading company in the wellness industry. In this crucial role, you will oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to GAAP standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to a team of 10 accounting professionals, including accounts payable/receivable staff and general ledger accountants.
• Manage the full accounting cycle, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, month-end close, financial consolidations, inventory control, billing, and audit preparation.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support informed decision-making by senior management.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). While a CPA or public accounting experience is a plus, it is not mandatory.
• Possess proficiency in accounting software systems, ideally including experience with Power BI, Sage 500, and SQL.
• Demonstrate a proactive and results-oriented approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement of financial processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate controller role, with a proven track record of success in managing all aspects of financial operations.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, but we are open to candidates with relevant experience in a similar industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels.
• A passion for the wellness industry is a plus.
