Recruiter Hustle partnered with a dynamic government agency to find a driven and results-oriented Director of Finance to join their leadership team.  In this key role, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial future, overseeing all aspects of finance, planning, and treasury functions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Charge: You'll plan, organize, and direct all financial activities, ensuring the company operates at peak efficiency. This includes financial planning & analysis, treasury management, and more.
• Financial Strategist: Develop and analyze financial data, crafting insightful reports that guide strategic decision-making. You'll also collaborate with executives to create and administer annual budgets.
• Investment Guru: Supervise the investment of company funds and oversee the insurance program, ensuring both financial security and risk mitigation.
• Team Leader & Mentor: Provide leadership and guidance to your finance team, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment where everyone thrives.
• Continuous Improvement Champion: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practices that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Communication Ace: Clearly explain complex financial concepts to a diverse audience, including staff, executives, and board members.

Qualifications:

• A seasoned financial professional with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (minimum 10 years) leading and managing financial operations, preferably within a governmental or similar entity.
• A strong understanding of municipal bonds and investment portfolio management is a plus.
• Expertise in financial planning & analysis with a knack for presenting complex data with clarity.
