Recruiter Hustle is proud to partner with a thriving REIT on their search for a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team on the rise and play a key role in their continued success.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing key tasks and reconciliations that ensure a smooth monthly close and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborating across departments to streamline processes for SEC filings and public information.
  • Diving deep into the data to prepare insightful analyses for management and external reporting.
  • Partnering with senior leadership to provide ad-hoc support and tackle special projects.
  • Maintaining and improving accounting and reporting systems for optimal efficiency.
  • Contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment (with opportunities for cross-training!).

Qualifications:

  • A 4-year degree in Accounting (or related field with a concentration in Accounting).
  • A CPA license (or eligibility) is a plus.
  • 3-5+ years of experience, ideally in a public company and the real estate industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • A keen eye for detail and a knack for data analysis.
  • A willingness to wear multiple hats and thrive in a collaborative, small-team setting.
