Our client, a worldwide OEM technical lab instrument supply company is looking for an equipment repair and service team lead for their Vancouver, BC location.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work order intake, regular and emergency service calls and repair assessment.
- Workshop operations, customer requirements and support, action planning.
- Hands-on rotating equipment (preferably vacuum pump) repairs following ISO 9001-2008 - in plant or on-site.
- Warehousing - shipping, receiving, inventory support.
- Employee leadership and supervision essential.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Industrial Mechanics Diploma.
- 7 to 10 years working and leading / supervising service and repair to industrial equipment, preferably rotating equipment (e.g. vacuum pump) related.
- MS Office.
- Excellent English communication skills and other language nice to have.
