FUN AND POSITIVE BROKERAGE IS SEEKING A COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT MANAGER - MID MARKET!!!

Responsibilities

● Responsible for managing a commercial book of business, looking after policies from inception to renewal while building and nurturing client and underwriter relationships.

● Manage policies throughout the term, ensuring accuracy of policy documents before delivering them to clients, manage account documentation including inquiries, quotes, binders, statement of values, and review exposures, loss experience to determine clients have adequate insurance for their needs. Negotiate renewals and when necessary remarket policies.

● Handle inbound calls, client requests and policy changes, manage additional paperwork including but not limited to the issuance of vehicle pink slips and invoicing.

● Partake in cross-sell/upselling campaigns and other initiatives.

● Participate in stewardship reviews with the team and/or clients for the existing book of business, prepare and present proposals for prospective clients and work closely with Producers to address potential issues.

● Participate in training and professional development courses to enhance skills and industry knowledge.

● Maintain positive relationships with clients, staff, and our insurance partners.

● Provide backup support to other Account Managers when required.

● Achieve performance metrics as set out by the Client Services Manager.

 

Qualifications -🎓

● An active and in good standing RIBO license is required

● Minimum 3-5 years of commercial insurance experience

● Currently working towards any one of the following (CIP, CAIB or CRM) is a positive.

● Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills

● High attention to detail with strong organizational skills

● A self-starter wanting to grow with the organization

● High level proficiency with computer systems and programs

● College Diploma/Bachelor's in Business Administration, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field.
