🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the daily operations and workflow of the SBU Commercial Insurance team

• Coach and develop team members to maximize performance and enhance client service delivery

• Oversee and maintain the integrity of the commercial portfolio, ensuring strong risk management and underwriting compliance

• Act as the primary liaison for insurance carriers, strengthening and maintaining key relationships

• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to align service standards and operational goals

• Provide strategic guidance on complex risk placements and account management within the small business space

• Monitor team KPIs and implement process improvements to drive operational excellence

• Ensure all processes and policies align with regulatory and industry standards

✅ What You Bring:

• 5+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience

• Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of team coaching and performance management

• Solid background in Small Business commercial insurance

• Commercial Lines underwriting experience is a strong asset

• Deep understanding of commercial insurance wordings and market practices

• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills

• Strong relationship management skills with insurers and stakeholders

• RIBO license (or eligibility to obtain)

• CIP designation (completed or in progress)

• Commitment to working onsite 5 days per week in Woodbridge
