They are looking for a self-motivated, proactive, and client-focused individual passionate about providing a best-in-class client experience to join us as an Account Manager in our Commercial Lines Small Business Unit. In this role, you will provide exceptional day-to-day service to Commercial Lines clients.
Your responsibilities:
* Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of Commercial Insurance clients
* Review clients' coverage, exposures, loss experience, and analyze risk to determine product/service requirements
* Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs
* Efficiently manage endorsement requests, coverage questions, and other inquiries
* Proactively manage renewals, including securing updates, performing reviews, and finalizing renewals
* Negotiate with insuring partners for optimal solutions
* Maintain accurate client record documentation in BMS
* Assist clients with reporting claims and ensure high-level service
* Prepare and forward insurance documentation
* Manage client accounts receivables
Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years of Commercial Lines experience in a brokerage
* R.I.B.O. licensed
* Working towards C.I.P. or C.A.I.B. designations (asset)
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills
* Driven and results-oriented
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent organizational skills
* Team player
* Self-motivated and proactive
* Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
